Brownies and no eyes!!!

Jackson had brownies for the first time tonight when he was smaller they said he was lactose intolerant so he really has not had any good stuff if you know what I mean. He has been pretty sick lately double ear infections and then tubes now bronchitis with high fever today was the first day since Friday his fever was not above 101 so he got a little treat. I did ask the Dr. on one of our many visits would it be ok to start giving him things and she said yes try a little at a time so wish us luck. He has gotten so funny now that he is all of 10 months old he has figured out that when mommy gets the camera if he closes his eyes it will not be bright but still gives us that big ol smile.

Family Christmas

We had a very blessed Christmas this year. Keith the kids and I spent Christmas Eve morning with my family in Berry and that evening with his family in Tuscaloosa. The kids got way more than they needed like always, Keith and I received tons also. The Sunday before Christmas we went to watch the Play at Church and I had been reading to Adrianna about the birth of Jesus she seemed to really understand better this year what the TRUE meaning is all about. Of course we left milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer along with Santa's magic key. When Santa come he took Elfie Jingles back to the north pole with him, I think this excited Adrianna more than anything she was scared to death that little thing was moving around her house while she slept bless her heart. Saturday night we had our Christmas get together with the Kimbrell Bunch. We had a great time and lots to eat. Maw Maw even got a GUN how funny it was like the Christmas story in person. She had been trying to run off some dogs with a sling shot and it was just not working out for her and had said something to someone about a GUN so she got a BB gun how funny huh. We were missing a few sorry they were unable to make it.

It has been a while since I have blogged. Jackson is going in the morning to ENT to get evaluated for tubes in his ears. He went through 2 antibiotics and 3 straight days of rocephin shots for an ear infection. That was not fun with temps of 103.5 and 102.8 that high of a temp scares me silly, but the shots helped. Ever since I read about Elf on the Shelf from Lawson Party of Five I had been dying to get the kids one. I had saw at the Dr. office in a book where you could buy them at Beauty Works in Tuscaloosa I had been meaning to stop and get them one but just kept forgetting. My Mom called and ask me if I had ever heard of it I told her about how I had read on the Blog about it and was going to get one for the kids. She surprised me and had already gotten them one. My mom is just the BEST we love her so much. She always keeps the kids in there nice clothes and matching outfits with hair bows and socks and shoes for pictures and what have you she always does way more than her share. We could never give her enough love and thanks for it all. I don't know what we would do without her. Back to the elf Adrianna wanted to name him whiskers but that just did not set very good with me so we went online and got the name sorta Elfie is perfect because she always wants to name things what ever they are with an added ie or y example is our dead gold fish she was white and her name whitey her baby doll is named baby and so on. After we got the Elfie part she thought he needed a last name so that's is where we get Elfie Jingles. I think I have more fun hiding him that she does finding him I just Love traditions. She is a little scared of the fact that he is flying around her house while she is sleeping. Oh and as you can tell I think Jackson is going to have his Mommy's curly hair poor baby I can not keep it slicked down anymore it just pops up everywhere.
