Jackson's Speech

Jackson is 27 and 1/2 months old and instead of talking we are getting gestures, points, hums, crying, fit pitching and so on instead. I know I have previously refereed to him as a "BAD CHILD" maybe this is why. He had his speech evaluation today he is VERY delayed saying 10-12 single words no combining, no phrases, no repeating others. He can follow 2 and 3 step commands he understands what you tell him and if you ask him to go get something like his shoes he can and will. It only seems to be his speech that is holding him back. The specialist wants to start therapy in 30 minute session twice a week. If our BC BS OF AL approves it. So Keep your fingers crossed, and I will keep you updated on our progress.

The Baby Butter is PURE MAGIC best stuff I have ever used within 24hrs Jackson was healed up. The $28 was worth every single penny.

Spent the afternoon at the lake today is was really nice just the Kids and I. Jackson is way to Brave and Adrianna is not Brave enough.

Please Keep Jackson in your prayers he has me pretty worried, At 27 months now he says less than 10 words, and the words he did say he don't anymore, and the ones he does say he does not pronounce correctly. Took him to the ENT to have hearing checked again we missed you and your Bubble blowing Kim but Christy was great. He has no hearing problems so he has now been referred to a speech therapist and his Dr. will start testing him for Autism because of the delay in speech and his social interaction or Fit pitching as I call it. Anyways I am having a hard time thinking something may not be right, so just say a little prayer with us please and I will update in a few weeks when I know more.

Butt Butter??

So it has been very Beautiful outside lately. Jackson and I have been spending our days with friends swim suits pools sun block and swing sets, can't beat that huh? Well he has always wore pampers baby dry diapers and I have always used Huggies wipes because they are thicker, until I recently found a NEW thicker pampers wipe. Well the little swimmer diaper I had bought him seem to be making him extra red between his legs and on his butt. I first thought it was heat friction from running wet in shorts for hours at a time. As you can see in the picture below I have used everything to clear up this rash. Between his legs has gone away but on his bottom it had began to bleed I have been faithful to change him every 2 hours and rub him down in some kind of cream. Resinol is my most favorite I have always had really good results with it but not this time.

This is everything I have tried none was working. Called my Ped she told me to go to Jim Myers (the pharmacy that has everything when no one else does) and pick up this.

Yes you are seeing this correct it was $28 and it is the size of a childs TRAVEL toothpaste come on now and the stuff is GREEN Slimy and has a funny smell. Hoping it is going to clear up and start looking better, I will let ya know later how it worked.
