100 yrs old??

Today for students in the Tuscaloosa county school system it is their 100th day of school. My Pretty little Adrianna ( yes Vince Gill sang it) got to dress us as an 100 year old woman. I have always enjoyed dress up days I think she will take this after me, all but being half asleep at 6:30am it takes her a while to wake up and I hit the floor running. Her class had to write a sentence (yes she is in kindergarten) on what they hope to be doing at 100 years old. Adrianna's read: I want to wear High Heels and play with my Grand kids. I am not sure where to Start, I called both of these ladies Maw Maw They were both extra special to me in their on ways.

Maw Maw Parker oh what I would give to see her sweet precious smile again calling me Lucy or Lucy Cindy oh what I would give to hold her hand kiss her check call her on the phone. Her Great Grand Kids she never got to meet oh how spoiled rotten they would be. If I said I wanted Maw Maw made sure I got it no matter what. I hope and Pray she is proud of who I have become. I am so thankful there is no more pain. Like the old saying says, miss me but set me free. I will always miss her and I am glad she is free I know she is in Heaven smiling down on us. I love you maw maw Parker and I always will.

Maw Maw Kimbrell what a wonderful woman. I remember her always letting me help her cook no matter what kind of mess I made she didn't mind. She always had the most beautiful gardens and flowers Loved all her children and grandchildren even the great Grands there was Not 1 time that I went to Berry to visit my Mom and Dad what she did not come to see my babies. Oh Maw Maw we are all going to miss you so much you lived such a long hard life I am glad your now in heaven your no longer tired. I love you and I will always miss you.

I have so much more to tell about my grandmothers like mending fences and feeding cows digging potatoes with maw maw Kimbrell. All the house plants, long afternoons on the porch and shopping with Maw Maw Parker. I will give you more in time. Please keep our families in your prayers!!

P.S. I am sorry Maw Maw Parker this is the only photo I could find at my house of you and it was locked in my safe. But I have all the memories anyone could ever wish for.
