School 2013

Lots of changes this year for my two. Adrianna starts 4th grade, Jackson starts  kindergarten. Momma is left home alone. The kids started moundville elementary yesterday. They both had a great first day, I was so worried. New town, new friends, new school that's a lot for such a young age but I must say they were Brave and I'm very proud if them both! Hope for a successful year!

Dogs

If you know me very well you know that I'm afraid of dogs, we always had a dog growing up. Right after I high school I had a pretty bad encounter and have been nervous around any dog since. I wouldn't go to the park with my kids, I didn't walk around and enjoy our neighborhood because if free roaming dogs. I've noticed that my panic attacks with dogs have been causing the same thing in my children. They are frightened anytime a dog comes around. Once we moved way down in the country I decided I would get the kids a puppy. It will be great for all of us and possibly protect us.  There was a stray beagle showed up. I know god sent this poor dog to me to help over come my fears. We could not find an owner, he had a collar but no name or address. The dog would run and tuck tail each time you got close to him. Wow he was more afraid than I was. After 3 months of trying to show this dog ( we call pup ) love he finally let me touch him. He is still very afraid of Jackson but does well with Adrianna. My dad brought us a puppy he found in the strip pits, just a mutt mix I guess. He is a sweet heart, loves to have his belly rubbed and he is breaking us in just right. His name is Bandit.

Pics of growing kids

Wow how time flies. My family and sold our house in Vance and moved to Sawyerville the end of January.....where?? Hale county 20 miles south of Moundville. We love it, the kids can now play outside and not worry about getting hit by a car or picked up, the mom stress meter has really dropped. We now have about 900 acres of unoccupied land to enjoy. Hunting fishing, bike riding all just a step out the back door. No more car ports or clean cars, now it's mud holes and 1/2 mile dirt drive way. Yep all alone out here and we LOVE it! The kids are growing so fast Adrianna is 9 about to start 4th grade, Jackson is 5 about to start kindergarten.
